The Hotel Continental Park is comprehensively renovated, so our room was entirely up to date although it was in the older part of the hotel. It was wonderful to be able to open the windows and hear birdsong; we were on the side facing a small park. The location is excellent, very close to the train station but also convenient to the heart of old Lucerne. The breakfast was excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. Everyone speaks English.

We had a “junior suite” and it was amazing! The only weird thing was a window separating the bedroom/bathroom…it allowed whoever was in the room to look into the restroom. Strange, but the size of the room and the location made up for that.

Couples in Luzerne for the first time

The hotel is across from the central train station in Luzern. The hotel is super clean, comfortable, and has a great breakfast. We only stayed one night, but I recommend it because it is super central, walking distance to the city center, crossing the bridge in 10 minutes. We went to the Christmas markets, and it was easy for us to stay here. I recommend it.
