“Nice Hotel on the cliffs”
My room was very clean each day. We enjoyed diving from the cliffs. The sister property is on the beach so we enjoyed both types of swimming, beach and cliffs. The staff is friendly at this hotel. Very helpful.
“Second time @ the Escape and definitely going back!!”
I've now stayed twice at the Escape and i HIGHLY recommend it. Once you stay here, you'll want to come back over and over!! The staff and service are amazing, the grounds gorgeous and the food yummy. It's close proximity to a lot of other places too, and they also provide a shuttle twice daily for the beach...and also to go to the Jungle (the main club in Negril). All in all, this place is my home away from home. They have fun events too - a full blown karaoke night (with big stage!, yummy buffet, drinks), and a Sunset show (which I missed but I heard is amazing). The staff is always there to tell you what's going on (local festivals etc). I LOVE LOVE LOVE this resort.
“updated boutiquey hotel on the cliffs of negril”
The hotel is beautifully located above the crashing waves of the Carribbean. Snorkeling was good, but it seems that scuba-diving is the thing to do. The rooms have been whimsically updated last year in a sort of 90's boutique hotel style. We stayed in the Maroccan style house. The landscaping is beautiful and all rooms have a view of the ocean.
“Negril Escape - Escape to Relaxation in Paradise”
Wonderful room, wonderful view of the sunset, extremely private. Had no problems with the maid and leaving our stuff out in our room at any time of day. I can't stress the privacy and relaxation enough. If you are looking to get away from it all, definitely come here. We even saw dolphins right out front of the restaurant! So incredible. The food isn't the best, but they do try to please you. And there are lots of places around to dine. The tuesday night live music is awesome, and you can enjoy it from your room if you choose. I would definitely stay here again.
“What an escape!”
The service at Negril Escape is phenomenal! The people here are extremely friendly. We went during a quiet week so the staff was very accomodating because there weren't too many guests to serve. Whereas the week prior to arrival was a very busy week due to a wedding that was taking place here. The rooms were cozy but we didn't spend much time there because there was too much to explore outside. The view of the ocean was beautiful. It was entertaining to watch guests jump off the lighthouse into the ocean. It's nice to get away from the beach for a little and relax on the cliffs. I would highly recommend this hotel.
“Great Deal! Beautiful Setting!”
You can't beat this location for a gorgeous, laid-back, funky Carribbean setting. The grounds are gorgeous, the price was right and the staff was friendly and courteous, if sometimes somewhat casual. The rooms are pretty bare bones. Our two-bedroom suite was more like three double beds in a row, with a partition in between. The bath needs updating. BUT. . .we did not go to Negril to stay inside and when we were outside, it was fabulous. A great out-of-the-way resort. I would go again in a heartbeat.
“Lovely location”
The welcome and service at this small hotel was top-notch. Extremely friendly and helpful staff made us always feel at home. Restaurant service was simple but quite adequate, and rates very reasonable. Best for us during our stay was the proximity to the beach or the town of Negril yet not staying directly in it - free shuttle services provided by a lovely driver made all locations quite accessable and easy to get to. Truly a great getaway for the 5 days we stayed, and a beautiful and quiet location on the cliffs. Thanks!
“Not impressed, but, in general good staff.”
There is no beach and on premises facilities are very limited, e.g. no telephone in room. It is very noisy on party nights and as such not only guests are on the premises.

My check went very smooth, but then we get to our room the mattress,sheets,bedding & curtis were so old they had a smell to them, the lighting outside at night NONE just imagine two single women walking through the woods.
