“Nice little hotel”
Great hotel for the price and friendly service. Looks like the manager puts in a lot of hours, he checked us in late at night and was there in the morning during breakfast. All of the items were pre-packaged bars, danish, bagels, oatmeal, etc... With the help of a "phone-a-friend" he was able to print some docs I needed for a meeting that I had emailed to the hotel. He could have said no and blown me off, but he found a way to do it!
“Days Inn thumbs up!”
The room had recently been refurbished. You could still smell the faint odor of fresh paint. Very large room.. Great maid and customer service. Very reasonably priced. Have already recommended this hotel to family and friends with trips planned for San Clemente this year.

We had a short stay only 2 nights, we were out all day. But they did a good job, on cleaning. It is a good place to be.
“Just what you'd expect.”
Pretty standard room, just what you'd expect from a Day's Inn. It's not walking distance to the beach but the price was about half of what the other places in town were charging at this time of the season. The room was clean and comfortable and was ready when we checked in. There's not much nearby that is in walking distance, but the hotel is on a main street (El Camino Real) and it is a short drive to most things. The complimentary breakfast buffet was a nice touch and saves some $.
“Great location in San Clemente”
Good value and a great location in San Clemente. Not too far away from the beach and Metrolink/ Amtrak station and the pier. Day passes to a nearby gym are a nice touch!
“Not too impressed”
Organization of rooms needs work; everything was on one wall--closet rack, tv, dresser. Maybe closet rack could be on the opposite wall.
