This little hotel is an absolute gem, and for us, perfect for our overnight stay. Beds are comfortable, bathroom is nice, the shower is fantastic with great water pressure, an overhead and hand held both sprayers. The room is small and very minimal, which keeps the price down, but still has all the amenities to ask for. The front desk was extremely friendly and professional. Absolutely a 5 star experience for the Miramar in San Clemente!

Room was clean, bed was comfy, floors are well kept and in place. The bathrooms are remodeled and the walk in shower with the rain head and stand alone options operate as they should and make it nice to get a good cleaning after the beach/sand. It's generally quiet being road front. Parking isn't really full size truck friendly, but manageable. TV has a larger than most selection of available channels. Minutes in any direction from just about absolutely anything you could need. Go find Lucky Dog Gelato when you stay here!

Location is great and super convenient. Outside still looks like a motel but rooms are nice and have been renovated so we didn’t mind. It was a quick stay for us. Only complaint was that the tv didn’t work in our room but that was minor since we were only there for one day.

Pleasantly surprised!!

I give this hotel a 10 just for the shower alone. It was so clean, modern It felt luxurious. Staff is nice, rooms are super clean. You have everything you need, coffee fridge, freezer and microwave. will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend. you would never know the rooms are so nice by looking at the outside of the hotel. Looks like your typical hotel, nothing fancy but it was a great stay!

We stayed here one night, as we were headed to Catalina the next morning out of Dana Point. Although this is an old hotel, the rooms have been nicely renovated. The room was spacious, very clean, great shower, fridge,microwave and Keurig coffeemaker. Only concern would be for light sleepers because you can hear the AC come on when it turns on and you can hear some of the street traffic. But, I would highly recommend this place if you are looking to stay in the area.

This was a well maintained establishment and ended up right next to the wedding we attended. Loved the hotel and the room looked newly remodeled with a great overhead shower feature. would stay here again.
