"Why did i pay a resort fee? This place has no open restaurants or stores in the complex and barely has vending machines. Maybe once it could be called a resort but now its barely a hotel"

"A very nice hotel with a reasonable rate. Good dining options on site. Wonderful grounds. Friendly staff. The only down side was that it was noisy. Concrete sidewalks right outside room entry. People walking and talking loudly past the room at 2 and 3am and cleaning carts rolling past at 7:00 am. Would stay again however. "

"Very impressed with Rosen Shingle Creek. Everyone - from bell stand, front desk, outdoor servers, and parking tram attendant, etc were super professional, friendly and helpful. They must really train them on customer service. Rooms were updated and with tasteful decorations. Everything was clean. Pools were wonderful. I would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat. Parking and valet fees were a little steep but nothing out of the ordinary for this type of hotel. "
