“Small Hotel, Long on Quality”
If the mattress had been firmer we would have given Le Placide all 5's. A terrific location (next to The Bon Marche), excellent concierge services, and well designed rooms and lobby make this place a pleasure to stay in. The breakfasts were ample and delicious, and the staff's attentiveness made my wife and I feel welcome from the moment we checked in.
“Paris no.1 hotel”
Stayed over for two nights with my girlfriend and we had a great time. The hotel is close to the Bon marche store and a nice walk from all of the sights of Paris (20mins) the hotel was very nice, the room a tad small but was more than adequate for my partner and I. The bathroom is very swish! Nice big bath too! The hotel staff were very helpfull in organising a printout of what buses to catch for our return to cdg airport and also with helping us with a plug adaptor. Thank you, will def come back!!!
“great location”
situated next to Bon Marche dept store. hotel has great location, also next to metro and buses. Small hotel run by the owners, staff speak good English and are helpful. We had an issue being late for our pick up and they helped as much as they possibly could. Breakfast is too expensive but there are many other options right on the door step. Our only complaint was the size of the room, and it was one of their suite rooms, but this is Paris. this is not a luxury hotel, but it is a convient friendly hotel.
“V. Enjoyable stay”
Great hotel, very clean and comfortable. Not quite all out luxury but a lovely, airy, spaceous room (junior suite) & ideal location for central Paris. Would definitely go back

Really good location and service of reception staff. Although we had booked into a junior suite, it was not as spacious as anticipated as the bedroom area felt cramped - albeit a very comfy bed. Would have been nice to have tea and coffee making facilities. Overall a nice hotel, but let down by poor maintenance of the property which took away some of the ambience eg some of the tiles coming away in shower. Would recommend for the location, but at a lower rate.
