Great location for both public transport and walking to some of the sights, plus easy access to airport. Good, clean hotel. Room was a little tight for 3 but we were only resting our heads so it did the job

Our stay was good. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel could use some updates, though. The carpets were a bit dingy, but overall, the room was clean and the property was clean. It was close to the metro and local restaurants and shopping.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Toilet seat was a little dirty upon arrival, but the rest of the room was clean - would have given it 4 stars if not for the toilet seat. Breakfast was nice but overpriced at 15 Euros.

Nicely located quiet hotel

The hotel is located very well near a lot of restaurants and not too far from serious shopping. I was alone and the room was ok but pretty small for two. But then almost all rooms in Paris are. The room was quiet and I had a good experience.

Likes: The staff were friendly and courteous. The location was pretty convenient, within walking distance of the metro. Dislikes: It’s not just that the hotel is old, it’s that there were hardly any amenities, save for a small common kitchen that smelled bad, and that we were placed in an accessible room without being asked, so the shower had no curtains/enclosure and the whole floor got wet whenever anyone took a shower. The TV was broken, and when I asked about it I was told there wasn’t a solution.

When we arrived, the lady on reception was so helpful. Gave us a map and and spent a decent amount of time showing us how to get around Paris. Other staff were also helpful during our stay. The room was a decent size and relatively comfortable. We could use the guest kitchen to make tea and coffee and heat food in the microwave.

Very handy for getting to the Olympics venues

We stayed here for two nights when at the Paris Olympics. The room is pretty basic but it has aircon for which we were very grateful. The lobby and reception areas are bright and were being redecorated while we were there. But the upstairs level and rooms were a bit tired and could do with the same level of tlc. We were hardly in the hotel as we were out at our sessions so it didn’t really matter. The area was very well-connected with transport and had plenty eating choices within walking distance.

It's just okay

Let's start with the positives: the location is great, walking distance from some main places and metro stations. Not so great: a bit dated and rundown, and the cleanness of the room especially the carpet wasn't good. Old and small shower towels.

First of all, the place may or may not be under construction. There are holes in the wall where electrical work was done and not sealed. There is a room to the side of a sitting area filled with drop clothes and paint. The advertised courtyard has 2 tiny bistro tables and chairs with chipping paint. You can barely note you are outside. There is one elevator which fits only 2 people, and is filthy. The entire property needs to be updated. I seriously doubt that it meets any type of safety standards. The place offers absolutely nothing. We had to ask for tissues and toilet paper. They don't provide soap for handwashing. There are no refrigerators or safes in the room. I requested an iron and ironing board and was told I had to go to the lobby to use . Their idea of cleaning the room is emptying the trash can and replacing your bath towels.on our 4th day, they asked if they could skip cleaning since it was our last full day. We honestly tried to find another place but nothing was available nearby. The area had a lot of restaurants and cafes which was nice, but you will find that all over Paris, in much nicer locations. No I would not recommend this to a friend or an enemy !

We chose the hotel because of the rating. Sadly, the hotel offered the minimum, towels were too worn out, basic bathroom necessities were missing, WiFi too weak, no kettle, no appropriate lightening in corridors in case of an emergency, pillows uncomfortable etc. We have been customers of hotels.com for years but we are now using hotels.com less because we can no longer trust the rating. We had stayed in many hotels in the same neighbourhood of the hotel Touring in the past with lower rating but better experience.

Cold room - noisy stay

The room is a decent size for central Paris and great location very near Cadet metro and all the shops and restaurants. However - we did not sleep well at all. The heating was not working and the room was very cold as bad weather that week - cold and raining. I rang reception to ask about the heating and was abruptly told ‘C’est pas functionne’ no apology. I was told I could collect extra blankets from reception. Then in the early hours of the morning we were woken twice by very loud guests who had accessed the internal courtyard smoking area in the ground floor - our bedroom overlooked this courtyard. Really cold room and other guests should not be able to access this courtyard after 11pm.

Don't normally post reviews but felt obligated as I booked this hotel solely on the reviews as expedia rated as an Excellent , To begin with the location is terrible, I think there is a school or something in front of this so the entire street is gated.. To get to this place the Uber / taxi will drop you at the end of street & u have to walk with luggage et al & wait in an open street.. We had a 9.00 am flight & had to leave the premise at 5.00 am.. to our bad luck it started drizzling in the freezing cold for 8 mts for uber.. Next this place is a joke looks & feels like a backpackers joint with soiled carpets common kitchen where stuff is not clean & fill your own drinking water from the taps. Was longing for a hot cup of coffee again the machines are just for display none operational & very dirty.. This is an old place with a pathetic attempt to renovate.. All u see clearly is a coat of paint on the shabby doors / walls, no electronic room card entry just a key attached to a brick.. I can go on fortunately we were there for 1 night.. stayed in a boutique hotel a week earlier before our cruise from marseilles that was so much better.. hoping the mgmnt improves conditions or at least can respond if I said anything untrue,.. one thing i must mention if there is a silver lining is that the night clerk Antoine ( Anthony ) was very helpful & a real pleasant personality that made our stay somewhat bearable.. Never ever go by false reviews just book a holiday Inn /Ibis or simila
