“Great hotel for the price”
This hotel had a nice big room with a desk area and a full kitchen. The staff was very nice and the breakfast included make-your-own waffles. The coffee was pretty good too. My only complaint is that the refrigerator in the room was rather loud when you are sleeping.
“Great value for the price”
This motel had more things than we expected for the price. It had microwave, stove, refrigerator, large closets, pool, spa, breakfast and more. We will definitely go back.
“Clean and comfortable”
no problems. clean. comfortable. a good place to stay. highly recommended.
“Great place at a great price!”
I was a little worried after reading previous reviews of this hotel, however, I was very happy with my stay. It is not the fanciest hotel, but it has a spectacular view and the staff was very helpful.
“Great Value for the Money”
If you're the type of person that goes to Walmart and complains about the service, then this hotel isn't for you. Here's what I liked: we had a room with a full fridge and two burners and a sink. We couldn't hear the other guests. The housekeeping staff mostly spoke Spanish, some English, and I felt comfortable knowing they cleaned the rooms. The beds and pillows were awesome. I slept really well. There was an Albertson's up the hill, away from the freeway. It was close to San Diego State, where we were for a tournament. And apparently close to QualComm. And the neighborhood was nice. What I didn't like? The breakfast room was very small and there happened to be a family of 13 that took over the room for an hour or two (not the hotel's fault). The front desk staff wasn't warmy and fuzzy, but not rude. It was an older hotel and the elevators and stairs were only on two corners. For the price, I would stay there again. Hope this helps.
“Days Inn Qualcomm”
My expectations were very low going to the Days Inn. All I needed was a bed and a shower. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the full kitchen and spacious bathroom. The sofa and workspace also exceeded my expectations. Being tucked away from the freeway gave me a sense of security, and it was also very quiet at night. The bed was decent, but not as comfortable as my own (it never is, right?) All in all, it was a great room and great value, I only wish that I had taken advantage of all of the ammenities.
“I will definitely go back”
Very nice room. Perfect for our little family. I will definitely go back to this hotel.
“very nice”
Very nice hotel. Upon arrival, they upgraded our room with full kitchen. Thank you for that. But, had no kitchen utensils. Very nice staff and front desk.
“Will stay again”
Very clean, friendly staff, ample parking but breakfast could use some help
“A Great Experience and Very Close to SDSU”
My friend I came down for a weekend to visit the university and to see all the areas of San Diego with plans to move down from the bay area for the next Fall semester. We booked the reservation about a week in advance and I was a little hesitant to book the reservation because of the "no cancellation" policy. It made me nervous because I was worried that something would come up and our trip would be cancelled and we wouldn't get our money back but things worked out and the front desk attendant was very nice and courteous when we checked in at 2am Friday night. Everything was pretty standard as far as check-in procedures and we were up in our room in no time. We felt so good about the room because it was clean and cozy. The kitchen area was a real kitchen with a full size refrigerator, a dish washer, a stove, and everything else including cupboard space! No flatware, but that's ok. The bathroom was fairly large and the water pressure was comfortable. The location was perfect, right off of hwy 8, and the neighborhood around it was very safe. We didn't use the pool, but it looked really nice. The continental breakfast was.. ok, but hey, free is free. (Stay away from the waffles. They look good but they taste like the bag the batter comes in). The only thing that was a little unpleasant about our stay was that the elevator could use some updating. It is very slow. All in all, thanks Days Inn for an enjoyable stay!
