Stamford is a lovely town and The Crown a lovely place to stay (fab breakfast!!). Would highly recommend and will definitely stay there again."

"We were made to feel welcome by Amy on reception. She told us everything we needed to know and was particularly helpful with a monor problem we had. Our room was comfortable and also very quiet. There was good parking facilities and the Miller and Carter was opposite for an evening meal. We had a good breakfast which was buffet style."

"Ok it’s a small hotel that does not have the usual gym and facilities but if all you need is a room with bath/shower it’s ok. Place could do with a coat of paint in places however the lounge bar overlooking the lake is great"

"Lovely hotel in a beautiful town. Our room was £163 (members price ) and our room was tiny ! Low ceilings and I couldn’t stand up straight in the room. So small no wardrobe would fit in which is inconvenient as nowhere to hang clothes. In the bathroom you could not sit up in the bath because of the height and slope of the roofline. So think £163 very expensive. Nice coffee tea & cookies in the room and nice toiletries. Good breakfast and lovely friendly and helpful staff. Generally very nice hotel for one night but any longer and I would want a different room and look for more value for my money. "
