The location was excellent and the property management company was very responsive for most of our needs when we were there. However, the condo we stayed in said it was a 2 bedroom but one bedroom was glass walls with no window. The condo itself was good but each room seemed to be lacking one small item. For example, the glass bedroom had a huge closet but no dresser or drawers. Also only 5 hangers were provided so you had to leave your clothes in your suitcase on the floor. The kitchen was lacking towels and one of the bathrooms did not have much counter space and no shelf in the shower to put your soap or shampoo so you had to put it on the shower floor. We brought this up with the GM of Avalon but they did not respond.

This was my second time staying with Avalon Suites, and I expect to stay here every time I come back to Toronto. The staff were accommodating and quick to respond. Originally we were given a room with a broken shower head (the water was barely coming out), and no office desk as I requested, and the staff were quick to move us to another room that evening! The washing machine was a bit finnicky as it took a while to get the machine to start running. The staff say it's because the buttons and sensors were a bit old. Nevertheless, it worked. When we left the hotel it said 3 hrs remaining, and when we got back a couple hours later, it said 3 hrs remaining still. Regardless, it ended up getting the job done. Location is close to the TTC, restaurants, and quite walkable. Overall it was a great place to stay!
