“A real 4 stars”
We used this hotel one night while using the Las Palmas airport to reach another destination. It is close to the airport, and they have their own bus transfers, and best of all it is free. Saves you 20 euros taxi ride. The hotel is very good, and the staff very very helpfull. Note that the hotel is far from the tourist resorts. You can reach Playa del Ingles/Maspalomas by public bus, costs about 2 euros and takes 15 minutes. If you looking for peace and quiet, and shopping (one of the biggest shopping centers in Gran Canaria is next door to hotel), and to be in good position to discover the island, than this hotel is for you, and reasonabled priced.

Good place for a short stay. It is conveniently located and close to Atlantico shopping center as well.

Employees including airport shuttle driver went above and beyond normal duties to be helpful.Room was much better than expected. Hotel is next door to a lovely shopping mall.
“Perfect for a one week get away.”
The hotel is about 15 mins from the airport. It's good quality and the restaurant was very nice. The staff majoritally speak english but having a phrase book being fluent in the basics if definitely advised. Not much locally to do, but a shopping mall and a nearby high street will satisfy your shopping needs. Approx 5 good places to eat including the hotel and mall. If the weather is good the swimming pool on the hotel roof is a great place to relax and for a one week break it's perfect. If you plan to stay longer then driving is essential to allow you to experience other areas of the island.

Excellent location to airport with free shuttle. Close to shopping mall. Helpful and freindly hotel staff. Good breakfast buffet included. Free Wi-Fi. Convenient to bus for 2 EURO ride to the beach at Masoplamos. Rooms starting to look a bit warn. Good overall value!
“Closest hotel to the airport”
Went to Gran Canaria purely for a 2 day shopping trip (I live in Tenerife) and picked this hotel as its the closest to the airport. The lady on reception was quite rude however the lady behind the bar, in the breakfast room and the man behind reception were accommodating. I would not rate this hotel as 4 star only 3. The shopping centre next to the hotel was great and the Hollywood Restaurant inside the centre was fantastic, highly recommended. There are no restaurants around the hotel area except in the shopping centre and the restaurant in the hotel was over priced. I would have no inclination to go back to Gran Canaria, but for a stop over the hotel is handy. Apart from shopping there is nothing in this area. If you want beaches and a little more this is definately not for you.
“Trapped in a time capsule from the 70th”
Wants to be bigger and better than it is; overall acceptable but not more.
“not good for catching early flights”
Although this is an airport hotel, their shuttle starts at 8am. Don't stay here if you want to catch an early fight. It's 10' min away from the airport, and that costs 20EUR by taxi. Otherwise, a pleasing hotel with really nice room.
“gran hotel elba vecindario”
The aesthetic quality of the hotel and rooms was good, however the staff and preparation for dealing with christmas holidaymakers was extremely slow, unhelpful,rude and just not set up to deal with the number of residents despite the hotel being alomost fully booked. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, which is a shame as the physical building is good.
