“Perfection”
Hotel was great. Staff were very helpful as I was planning a secret trip for my wife which involved my children arriving in secret, me proposing to my wife and dining in a great restaurant. The hotel organised everything.
“Excelent location”
Well localized to see the events of the Bienalle just walking, and to come and go to the airport (pier Arsenalle). Rooms are large and comfortable and the internal open space for the breakfast very pleasant. Nice people too.
“Great place, Perfect location!”
I stayed here for three nights in a small room on the fourth floor. The room had two twin beds even though I was alone, which gave me lots of extra space. The bathroom was beautiful, with a huge tub and a heated towel rack. The air conditioning kept my room really cold, sometimes too cold! The breakfast is amazing, it includes anything you could want, and they serve coffee and hot chocolate directly to you at your table. It is very close to the Arsenal, a focus point of my trip as I was there for the Venice Biennial. It is also close to San Marcos Plaza, and in between vaporetto stops. The only things that bothered me about the hotel were that the internet is expensive (4 euro for a half an hour) and the people that work at the front desk are not the nicest. Overall, I would definitely return.
“I have stayed twice and long to go back”
What a find! After meeting several people who had spent hours trying to find their hotel in the labyrinth that is Venice, the location of this lovely hotel is just perfect, a leisurely ride from Marco Polo to the Aresnal, the waterbus stops right outside. Most of the staff were friendly, especially the "signora" who, when she overheard it was my birthday, insisted my friend and I had a free glass of Prosecco in the bar!Good food in the delightful courtyard, tranquil gardens roof garden, oh I can't wait to go back! nabest location
“Excellent location on the waterfront with great view of lagoon”
A hotel with real Venetian charm on the waterfront with a roof garden providing an excellent view and spot to relax after a day of exploring the sights. Convenient access to the Arsenale and Bienale Gardens. Excellent all you can eat breakfast included.
“Wonderful hotel for our ruby wedding anniversary!”
Fabulous staff, perfect service, and a super restaurant/food/service, especially dinner. Nothing was too much for them. Our first visit to Venice - both the hotel and location were brilliant. If you can get a room facing the sea, you'll also have the best view in Venice. Don't miss the roof garden view, breakfast in the courtyard and relax in the garden.
“Full of character and well-located”
Excellent location, only a short walk away from the throng and into pleasant side streets. Old building, so lots of short flights of stairs. Lovely garden. Staff very helpful to a guest troubled by generator noise and gave her an alternative room without any fuss. Good breakfasts.
“Hotel with a view”
Lovely stay. The woman at the desk dared us to find a terrace with a better view of Venice. She was probably right! Very conveniently located, especially for the boat stop from the airport. Great breakfast. Will stay there again.
“a charming palazzo”
I was a bit worried about my selection of this hotel because there were some worrisome comments from other travellers but I must say that I found the hotel to be a wonderful charming hotel of a by gone era. The staff was incredibly attentive, the room was spectacular: panoramic view of the lagoon, very clean, good size. The hotel was a breeze to reach via Alilaguna (public water bus from Marco Polo Airport and inexpensive);centrally located to everything. The breakfast was great and dinner in the hotel was excellent. The only negative the internet was very expensive to use.
“Nice hotel, good location”
The hotel is on the waterside, about 200 meters from where you get off the boat from the airport. It's quite stylish, but not overbearing, and you can get a good breakfast sitting outside in the courtyard garden. The staff were helpful and all spoke good English. The room was a bit more basic than you might expect, but who cares? You're five minutes walk from St Mark's square. PS My son found the hotel building on a 15th century map in the Correr museum.

The Piazza San Marco, famous for its pigeons, campanile, basilica, Palazzo Ducale (Doges Palace) and expensive cafes, is unmissable. The waterfront views are legendary and more gondolas depart from here than anywhere else in the city. In season the Piazza teems with day trippers though just a block or two away streets are quiet and offer more museums and palaces to explore.
