"A great place to stay. Just away from the very busiest parts of the city, but within 2-3 minutes walk of two water bus stops (including one on the Grand Canal) and within easy walking distance of much of the city anyway. Very friendly staff, good breakfast. We had a slightly larger than standard room which was lovely - spotlessly clean, very nice bathroom / shower, comfy bed. English spoken which were grateful for because our Italian is very poor. Everything we needed for a 5-day treat for...

"Good service for the price, very nice people at the desk. Close to the train station and venice landmarks. Good place to stay if you travel on a budget, only down thing is probably bedbugs in the room we stayed, me , my wife and my son been having the skin rash usually going with bedbugs."

"This is a gorgeous property but not for anyone who does not plan on commuting by boat to do anything than wander its island. The Hotel shuttle costs €15 per person per stay and doesn't start until 9am. I wanted to begin seeing Everything in Venice early so either pay private water taxi or take public boats... which if full.. you have wait for next one. The Staff are wonderful and room gorgeous but if you want to go back forth shopping and such, its just not convenient. "
