“UNA Hotel Venice - a joy!”

We spent three nights in Venice in January 2012 staying at the UNA Hotel with which we were tremendously pleased. We had an excellent room with plenty of space, an exceptionally comfortable bed and small, but efficient, bathroom. The hotel is well-situated in Cannaregio - a five minute walk from Fondamente Nove at which the Linea Blu boat transports to and from the airport - and a five minute walk down to the Grand Canal at the Ca' d'Oro vaporetto stop. The breakfast buffet was extremely good and the free afternoon tea and cakes a surprise bonus. Tea and coffee-making facilities in the room were a further surprise for mainland Europe. The staff were friendly and helpful - booking concert tickets for us with professional efficiency and advising upon a particularly nice local Osteria. Housekeeping standards were excellent - despite the fact that maintenance work was taking place during our stay. We'd be delighted to stay there again.

Really nice little hotel in a quiet area off the beaten track but easy access to all the main attractions. Friendly and helpful staff nice room. Very good breakfast buffet and service.

Great hotel loved the breakfast and the desserts, tea and coffee in the afternoon. Convenient location. Walked everywhere.

“A delight to stay”

The hotel is just a straightforward 5 minute walk from the Alilaguna airport boat stop on Fondamenta Nuove, though you should watch your step as the local dogs don't have green grass to use! As you'd expect for a newly opened hotel everything was spic and span. It is in a peaceful location yet is only a couple of minutes from the forever bustling Strada Nova. The staff were very friendly, enthusiastically helpful and welcoming. The buffet breakfasts were very good, with a good choice of hot or cold. We were in a 'superior double' - not huge but certainly adequate for our needs, though others may desire more space. Our only small gripe was the lack of storage space, a small chest of drawers in addition to the wardrobe (which also houses the mini-bar and safe deposit box) would have been useful.

Great little hotel about 300m off the well beaten track of the Strada Nova. Staff have all 'done the course' and couldn't have been more helpful. Recent renovation means everything looks good and works well. If you don't mind a few stairs try the 'penthouse', Room 401. We liked it a lot.

Everything you need for a fantastic base in Venice.. Location is ideal to tour all aspects and areas of Venice Staff and amenties delivered everything possible to fulfil our requirements during our stay and would definately recommend this Hotel to anyone of all age groups. Rooms luxurious, breakfast with all selections of foods and quality of service which surpassed my expections.. In all a totally excellent choice of Hotel , in which we both will be returning as soon as possible... a fantastic experience in Venice with the help of fantastic choice in Hotel & Staff Craig & Heidi E ....... “Excellent Hotel, great value for money- very friendy and helpful staff”

This was a Venetian Gem set on a small backstreet canal; far enough away from the tourist bustle but within 10 minutes walk to Rialto Bridge and 15 minute to San Marco. The hotel interior decoration and design were excellent, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful or friendlier. Very good breakfast every morning and a lovely bar area to sit in the evening where prices and quality were superior to those outside. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a true venetian experience.
