“good for airport transfer if you get a good priced deal”
We got this hotel as part of the secret purchase and got a very good deal for a family room. Hotel is very nice for this money.
“Just right for an overnight pre flight stay”
After several hours traveling we were so happy to learn that the hotel shuttle could be picked up just feet from where the Gatwick- Heathrow shuttle dropped us off. We were a little surprised at how far from the airport the hotel was; but we were so pleased when we entered the hotel to an lovely lobby, lobby bar, glassed in pool and warm friendly staff that checked us in and gave us information on the shuttle that would take us to he airport the next day. Brief but great stay, comfortable room, nicely decorated (small) but perfect for what we needed.

I was quite satisifed with my room and the staff was quite helpful.
“Surprisingly nice”
I felt like I was staying in a 5 star hotel, as the staff was very friendly, the hotel itself beautiful, food was excellent in the restaurant, and our room was comfortable and clean. I would highly recommend it. We only stayed one night and took the shuttle to Gatwick the next morning (3 pounds per person), so didn't get to see Crawley.

Contemporary and comfortable hotel with all necessary details in place. Only down side is the breakfast which cost £17 per person. It should be around £10 if you ask me. If you have a car, there is a McDonald's and Sainsbury's next to each other. Distance is about 1,5km.
“Very nice hotel, especially for an airport”
The hotel itself was lovely, clean, and well kept. I was a bit disappointed with the slow and inattentive service at dinner, and the disorganization at breakfast...it was a self-serve buffet and yet somehow was made quite complicated.

The Crowne plaza is a useful hotel of good quality close to Gatwick. Good bus connections (hotel by bus £3 each way). Make sure that Expedia have forwared your hotel loyalty scheme details.

Crown Plaza.Gatwick. A lovely hotel,with very good facilities,lovely pool.Spacious rooms.Well appointed bathrooms,plenty Tea,Coffee etc.Really comfortable beds. All staff we encountered were without exception very good.
“Wonderful end to a long vacation”
The Gatwick-Crawley hotel was one of the best experiences of our 5 week vacation in Northern Europe. The room was extremely clean and spacious for the three of us. We stayed in a Club Room. The staff were all very accommodating We also enjoyed the swimming pool and fitness areas. We travel to the UK every year and intend to stay at this hotel both at the beginning and end of our trip.
