“Great location - accommodating”

Accommodating and responsive staff. Rooms meet all your basic needs - and suites are very nice. Rooms have ability to cook and store food. Small store on site for basic needs. Great location to the entrance to Yosemite and close to the valley floor. Right along the highway, but if you get a river view room you are looking out on a beautiful view and hear the water rushing over the rocks. Lots of wild life - saw deer on property. Pool- jacuzzi

“Nice and close to Yosemite”

Hotel changed our room due to faulty plumbing in the room. They upgraded us and the new room was very nice. Indoor pool needed some work and the jacuzzi was broken- not a big deal.

“Yosemite Weekend”

Totally enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We were meeting friends in Yosemite and nothing was available so gave Yosemite View a try. Fabulous! We had a river side room with a balcony, gas fireplace, kitchen and jacuzzi bath tub. Felt amazing after hiking all over Yosemite. Will definitely stay again. Thanks

“Lovely Alterative to Valley Accomodations”

We stayed in a King Spa room for two nights on our Honeymoon before going on to the Ahwahnee Hotel in Yosemite Park. The room was lovely with a large spa right next to the King Bed, and a kitchen with stovetop. microwave, fridge, plates, cutlery, glasses, etc. The scenic Merced River rushed by over rapids right outside our balcony. The dining room was quite nice with good food, salad bar, and a nice selection of wines and drinks available. A Pizza Kitchen is available as well as an alternative. The hotel is a few hundred yards from the Park boundary, but Yosemite Valley is at least a 20-30 minute drive away, albeit on a beautiful scenic road. But if Park accomodations are booked, or are too expensive for you, this is a highly acceptable alternative to staying in the Valley. We found it quite romantic for the two of us, but a lot of families with children stayed there as well and seemed quite content.

“Good location & very comfortable hotel.”

Yosemite View Lodge is in a fabulous location just a couple of miles from one of the Parks entrances. I was travelling with my 23 year old son and although we didn't get a room overlooking the river we had an amazing one with the second huge bed on a mezzanine floor reached by a spiral staircase which afforded a littel more privacy. Excellant facilities if you wanted to self cater. We had pizza for the two nights we were there - good quality and reasonably priced. Main restaurant fairly limited menu and not very inspiring. This hotel would benefit from having a bar as there is no where really to go in the evening and it would be nice to sit out with a drink.

“Great Place Outside Yosemite”

Location is great, the grounds are immaculate. Location on the river is unbeatable. We had kitchen facilities, balcony on the river, fireplace and jetted tube for two. The only complaint were the pillows, but that did not decrease our enjoyment of the hotel. The restaurants were acceptable. Would return to this hotel whenever we return.
