“The perfect location”
Lovely hotel with exceptional staff. A bit tricky to find if you take the bus so make sure you get directions from the bus stop. Best location for seeing zadar, which is a gem of a city.
“great food and wine experience”
Hotel Bastion was fantastic. It's in a great location and the staff, amenities were all great. We had a 'degustation'dinner at the Hotel restaurant both nights we were there...the first night we had mainly seafood so the next night the waiter/sommelier gave us different courses & matching wines. So far on our Croatian holiday this restaurant is a 9.5/10. Can't recommend it highly enough. Breakfasts are buffet style with a great selection available as well as eggs or pancakes cooked to order.
“Best Hotel in Croatia!”
I recently spent 2 weeks in Croatia and this was my favorite hotel. The hotel was new and clean (with historic architectural touches, which I thought was cool) and my room and bed were extremely comfortable. The staff made a concerted effort to be friendly and offer assistance and all spoke English. It was the best free hotel breakfast I've ever had... not only are there the usual assortment of foods and drinks but also a whole menu of items you can special order, such as pancakes and omelets. The location couldn't be better and I think it's the only hotel in the Old Town. Zadar was my favorite town in Croatia... a beautiful Old Town filled with Roman ruins and it doesn't seem as touristy as some of the other places I went, like Split (I was there off-season, though). I enjoyed walking along the seaside promenade and it was nice to catch a movie one night at its modern movie theater. Although it was the most expensive hotel on my trip, it was worth the splurge and I will definitely stay there again if I ever return to Zadar.
“NICE PLACE”
EXPENSIVE BUT I THOUGHT IS WAS WORTH IT FOR THE LOCATION AND IT'S JUST A REALLY NICE HOTEL WITH GOOD SERVICE.
“Great Hotel”
It's an interesting, boutique hotel with plenty of character. Well located near the ferry and easy to walk into the main tourist attractions and shopping in the old town of Zadar. Breakfast was a feast.
“Sea Organ”
The hotel is a little pricey for the quality and location. Everyone very friendly and the hotel itself is beautiful. Well located.
