"Air conditioning wasn’t very effective. Room never got below 24 Celsius. It’s simple, has some basic pots, pans, etc., but we didn’t use the cooking top. Nice little patio area. Location is solid - it was quiet, very close to the bus station, grocery store (with self-service laundromat inside), only about 5-10 minute walk to the nearest beach and maybe 20 to Old Town. Not a ton of restaurant options in the immediate area, other than a McDonald’s."

"Fabulous location just inside the walls of the old town. A two minute walk to the promenade and 1 minute walk to the lovely streets of the old town. The apartment is very nicely furnished and decorated. There are 3 quite busy bars downstairs (apartment is third floor). A little loud on Friday and Saturday night but the windows kept most of the noise out. A bit of a delay with getting check-in info, not enough bedding and the washing machine kept tripping the electrics. Without these issues we...

Miramare Hotel Zadar

Miramare Hotel Zadar

10/10 Excellent
"The hotel is in a great location just outside the old town with a beach just down the hill. The rooms are very clean with modern bathrooms. In hindsight we should probably have gone for a room with a balcony so if you're considering one I think it will probably be worth it. Breakfast is excellent with a cold buffet and more hot options available to order, plenty of options for vegetarians. The pool area is great and we had no issues finding available sun loungers while we were there. The staff is very friendly and efficient both in the reception and at breakfast."

"Excellent hostel. Beds were well spaced out and had privacy screens. Each bed had a large wardrobe style locker. The bunk beds well in built and had easy access steps as opposed to a ladder. Showers and toilets were clean. I was conscious that there were only 2 female showers on our floor but I never had to wait, and there might have been more down the corridor. Air con was very effective. I was able to leave my luggage and baggage at reception before and after check in and my passport could be stored in a safe at reception. The breakfast at Eden cafe was included and it was delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend."
