"Aside from the fact that the rooms are a little small, as is to be expected in Manhattan, the Civilian hotel was otherwise absolutely perfect. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate a very early check-in, and then an unexpected late check out when my flight home got delayed. "The lobby and rooms are adorable. The robes were a nice added touch. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The location was perfect. We walked everywhere or caught the subway at 34th or Times Square. We will definitely stay again! "

"The stay is great - one suggestion is to pls cancel the luggage fee - your hotel is decent - and a decent hotel doesn’t charge fees for helping your clients to check their luggage for a little bit before or after the time they are check in or check out. Otherwise I would have have really enjoyed the stay. "

"Overall loved our stay, clean rooms, nice continental breakfast (only 2 hour window), great rooftop views. Free waterbottles first night but not following nights. We also selected the hotel for elevator use. Of course, we got put into a building next door, with no elevator and top floor. This would have been nice to have been communicated in advance to the customer to see if that would be okay as it technically does not match the booking description. "
