"Nice and handy, 10 minute walk to Kyoto station. Between Higashiyama Honganji and Nishi Honganji. Close to Karasuma Dori and Gojo Dori for buses and subway. Room was very nice and perfect for one or 2 people. Staff were very welcoming."

"The staff were amazing and extremely helpful. Provided what we needed at request. We wish was that in them knowing we had a vehicle, that they were able to direct us to a nearby parking lot with affordable pricing. The signs are confusing at times. We ended up paying ¥3400 the first night for overnight parking and ¥6100 the second night in the nearby lots. Other than that, the room was clean except a little black mold near the AC unit. Deep. cleaning could be better. Happy with our 2 night stay...

There is a 200 yen accommodation tax when checking in (this tax applies for all accommodations in Fukuoka), which I happily paid for as I want to support sustainable tourism). "The staff were, friendly, helpful and willing. The place itself was spotlessly clean, both my room and the facilities. It is within an easy walk of the train and bus stations as well as Kawaguchiko Lakeside. I couldn't have asked for better accommodation, would definitely stay there again."

"The proprietor Taro-san was very kind and understanding, as well as his partner. However, the rooms were exceedingly hot, the air conditioning wasn't working properly, the laundry machine (particularly the drier) wasn't working properly, and the overall experience was lacking. The proximity to transit and the nearby convenience store was amazing, and the proprietor was fine, but the facilities left a gap in the experience that couldn't be mended."

"My family and I had a great stay at the Rakuten STAY Naha Tomari Port. The facilities were all very clean as well as the room. My family and I stayed in the six-person room with two double beds and two single bunks on top. The monitor was great for watching shows together before bed after a long day of exploring. I do wish there was a kitchen or a small area with a microwave to heat up food. Overall, this was a great, affordable stay."

"The guy is really nice and accomodating and the area was decent to walk, but for the love of god, don't stay here... Hair every where, bathroom, pillows, bed sheets, you name it. Second, we reserved a room with 2 beds (1 bed and one futon). We got one bed and thin pad for the floor with almost no room to put it. I should've trusted (and or read them) the other reviews before booking because for the money this place sucked. Pay extra and stay at a real hotel. The photos of random glass building...

"This hotel is excellent. It’s a 10 minute train ride to Tokyo station from Shiomi station, which is a short walk away. The bath house and sauna were amazing, the photos match the actual condition of the property. It seems almost brand new with how immaculate everything is. It isn’t the most central hotel of course, but the location is still good in my opinion. Everything else is great! I recommend staying there, and would definitely stay again. "
