"Was there for two nights. It's in a great location, I w as in the basement and the windows were at street level, so a bit noisy. Also, no mini fridge, ice machine, had to go to the bar to get ice water. Free coffee in the AM was great, I ordered overnight oats for breakfast and they were out, the server offered me anything else on the menu regardless of price which was very nice. I was also able to park for $24/day one block away vs. $35 which I also appreciated. If you have a child at GW...

"Although I felt safe there was many homeless people on the street in front , it was close to subway so I think that is why , there was a lot of police around and everyone was friendly , and every morning they were out cleaning the sidewalks put in a lot of steps to get to Washington sites but the price was certainly reasonable , lots of coffee shops around . "Proximity to GWU makes it an automatic for visiting parents. Hotel is beautiful, old school, the rooms are large and the bathrooms have the best showers. The Four Five Coffee shop moved in two doors down which only makes staying at the hotel better. The hotel staff are all excellent, caring, and personally engaged to ensure a comfortable stay. Skip the onsite restaurant as there are plenty of much better options within easy walking distance (North Italia, Toryumon, Tatte, Circa). "

"The hotel is very well located, we were able to walk pretty much to all the main places, the area feels very safe and the valet parking is super convenient if you don’t want to be looking for parking garages, you get a free drink at the lobby bar during your stay.
