What you can expect

Today, we will embark on a Boston film and television exploration tour across the screen. The first stop is the Boston Public Garden. Sitting on the lakeside bench in Good Will Hunting and the gently swaying reflection of the swan boats on the lakeside, it seems to reproduce the soul conversation between Robin Williams and Matt Damon on the bench. The commemorative plaque quietly tells the eternal tribute of fans to this “life lesson.” Then stroll to the garden lawn and trace the filming location of Ted and his owner: imitate the funny interaction of the plush bear on the grass, take a photo with the swan boat by the lake, or find the same shooting angle in the film on the bridge, and immerse yourself in the joyful scenes in the film.
The final stop of the morning itinerary is the Cheers Beacon Hill bar on Beacon Hill—as the location of the American TV series Cheers, the iconic staircase entrance and golden sign are the must-check-in lens origin. When you enter the bar, you can order a classic drink from the show or buy a “Where Everybody Knows Your Name” commemorative cup in an atmosphere full of stills and character introductions to personally experience the cultural heritage of the American household series.

In the afternoon, we first walk into the Cape Ann area to explore the growth trajectory of Ruby in Hearing Girl. The “Angela Rose” fishing boat at Rockport Wharf is particularly eye-catching—this real boat is the screen incarnation of Ruby's family. It is a must-see for film fans and carries the courage of a girl to pursue her dreams. Walking around, you can almost hear the melody of Ruby practising singing in the sea breeze.
As the day winds down, we follow the Gloucester coastline to the filming locations of Manchester by the Sea. The boundless sea view was once a visual footnote to the protagonist's inner grief, while the streets and alleys of the East Gloucester area reflect the quiet resilience of a northeastern town. Every corner holds the emotional echoes of the protagonist’s journey rebuilding his life with his nephew. The sea breeze carries the town’s stories, softly blending cinematic sorrow and real-life scenery.
