Varandinha Beach is a beach located in the southwest of the island of Boa Vista. It is considered a paradisiacal beach, being cut by rocks that divide its extensive sand into smaller areas. Among the rock formations that it exposes next to the sand, there is a natural cave, overlooking the sea, known as Bracona. The lack of road links makes it difficult to access this beach, favouring its isolation and contributing to its almost untouched wild environment.

Huge white sand dunes. With small oases where you will find acacia bushes, palm trees, coconut and date palms. Nature is pure, just as it should be. That is the Viana desert (Deserto de Viana). The Viana desert is an extension of the famous Sahara desert, but now on an island in the middle of the Atlantic. A beautiful landscape which is worth a visit.
