Know before you book

    • Travellers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
    • Infant and toddler seats are available. One child per seat. Max weight is 40 lbs. Max height is 43".
    • Pull behind child caravans are available. Can accommodate one or two children. Children must be less than 40 lbs each.
    • Older children who want to ride an e-bike, must be at 13 years old, have a parent on the ride, and must be able to touch the ground and fully control the e-bike, including using the hand brakes and throttle.
    • Please Note: Routes include biking on city streets alongside vehicle traffic, including stretches with and without designated bike lanes. During the summer and on weekends, traffic can be heavier, especially along the frontage road between Shell Beach and Avila Beach. Riders should be comfortable sharing the road and making turns across traffic when needed.
    • Electric bikes are heavier and faster than traditional pedal bikes, so good balance and basic bike-handling skills are essential for a safe and enjoyable experience.

    • Weight limitations: Maximum of 250 pounds per traveller
    • Must be 13 or older to ride.
