Departing from Darchen at 8 o'clock in the morning, head towards the sacred lakes of Lake Manasarovar and Lake Rakshastal,situated between Mount Kailash and Mount Naimona Nyi, under the morning glow. Lake Manasarovar is renowned as the "Mother of World Rivers", while adjacent to it lies Lake Rakshastal, also known as "Lhagang Lake"in Tibetan, meaning "poisonous black lake".Lake Rakshastal is a saltwater lake and is often referred to as the "Ghost Lake".Despite its stunning beauty,Lake Rakshastal is unfortunately associated with negative connotations and is sometimes avoided by travellers due to its reputation. However, the scenery here is exceptionally beautiful, with dark red hills along the lakeside and pebble beaches resembling a bright silver ribbon. There is also a small island in the lake, tinged with dark red hues. Then, proceed to observe Gongjue Lake from a distance before heading to Saga for accommodation.
