Depart from Ulaanbaatar in the morning 08.00a.m and drive towards Ogii Lake, a beautiful lake in Arkhangai Province. On the way, stop to visit the ruins of Khairkhan Bukh Fortress and enjoy the peaceful scenery. Transfer to Kharkhorin town for an overnight stay in hostel with shower, electric and dinner. Total drive 7 hour 400km.

Day 2: Visit Orkhon volcanic valley and warefall

Day 3: Explore Kharkhorin and Relax at Tsenkher Hot Springs (outdoor)

  • Accommodation: In the hotspring area tradiotional ger, Ger is shared place inside 1-4 beds and men and women separate.

In the morning, explore Kharkhorin (Karakorum) – the ancient capital of the Mongol Empire – and visit Erdene Zuu Monastery, one of Mongolia’s oldest Buddhist sites. After lunch, drive to the Tsenkher Hot Springs in Arkhangai Province. Enjoy swimming (outdoor) in the natural hot springs surrounded by hills. Overnight stay at a local guesthouse near the springs.

Day 4: Elsen Tasarkhai Sand Dunes and Camel Riding

  • Accommodation: Visit a nomadic herder family, where you will stay overnight in a traditional ger (yurt). No electric and no shower.

After breakfast, return towards Kharkhorin for lunch, then continue to the Elsen Tasarkhai sand dunes, a unique area where desert, steppe, and mountain landscapes meet. Day 5: Back drive to UB city
