What you can expect

At 8 am free pick up from the surrounding areas of Tena to take you to the river side for the “360° Day Tour Jungle Expedition°” which consists of tubing or kayaking down the Arajuno river. We arrive at “Amazoonico”, an animal rescue centre, a great opportunity to observe wild animals and contribute to their well-being. Later, in the motorised canoe, we will visit a Kichwa tribe where an indigenous family will be receiving us to present the art of the blowpipe, elaboration and tasting of chicha, traditional dances and how to extract the fibre of the pita plant. A Box-Lunch will be served to us on the riverbank. We continue on to the Anaconda Island to observe the swamp of caimans and try to spot the exotic hoatzin bird. At 4 pm you will get dropped off in Tena.
