Embark on a 4-day small-group adventure designed for travellers aged 20–35 who want to experience the authentic culture of Northern Vietnam beyond the typical tourist route.
Unlike large party tours, groups are limited to a maximum of 8 travellers. Take hidden mountain roads and village routes to avoid crowds and create more meaningful connections with local communities.
The tour is led by local Dao Easy Riders who were born and raised in the mountains of Ha Giang. Your guides share stories about ethnic minority cultures, traditional lifestyles, local customs, farming traditions, and life in remote villages.
Highlights include the Lung Cu Flag Tower at Vietnam’s northernmost point, viewpoints near the Chinese border, the UNESCO-listed Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark, the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass, a boat cruise through Tu San Canyon on the Nho Que River, and opportunities to swim in the river during suitable weather conditions.
Stay in local village homestays and enjoy authentic regional food throughout the journey. On the first evening, enjoy a traditional chicken hotpot dinner. On the second evening, share a family-style Dao community meal. On the third evening in Du Gia Village, experience traditional Tay ethnic cuisine and a relaxed cultural evening with local music and karaoke.
The experience also includes visits to small villages, waterfalls, scenic mountain valleys, local markets when available, and peaceful countryside roads that many larger tours do not visit.
This experience focuses on culture, community, local knowledge, nature, and authentic connections rather than party activities. It is ideal for travellers seeking a genuine and immersive journey through the mountains and ethnic villages of Ha Giang.
