Day 1: Airport pickup – Cusco city tour

You’ll be picked up at Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport and transferred to your hotel in the historic centre of Cusco. The morning is free to rest and acclimate. Around 2:00 p.m., the City Tour begins with a visit to Qoricancha, the former Temple of the Sun. The tour continues by private tourist transport to the archaeological sites surrounding Cusco: Sacsayhuamán, famous for its massive stone walls; Qenqo, a ceremonial centre dedicated to Pachamama; Puca Pucara, an ancient military outpost; and Tambomachay, known as the Inca Baths for its ceremonial water channels. After the final visit, you’ll return to Cusco around 7:00 p.m., where the transport will drop you off near the historic centre. You may choose to enjoy dinner or a cultural show to end your first day in the city.

Sacred Valley of the Incas

You’ll be picked up from your hotel in Cusco around 8:00 a.m. to begin the journey to the Sacred Valley. The first stop is the Pisac archaeological site, where you’ll explore temples, terraces, and ancient Inca structures. The route continues along the Vilcanota River towards Urubamba, passing Andean villages and scenic farmland. In Urubamba, you’ll enjoy a buffet lunch featuring local dishes. The second major visit is Ollantaytambo, an Inca town with an impressive fortress built with massive stone terraces and ceremonial areas. After exploring the site, you’ll walk to the train station and board the Expedition or Voyager train to Aguas Calientes, enjoying a scenic ride through the valley. Upon arrival, staff will take you to your hotel for rest. In the evening, your guide will give a briefing about the next day’s visit to Machu Picchu, including bus schedules and important instructions.

We start the morning with breakfast at the hotel in Aguas Calientes before heading to the bus station. After a 25-minute bus ride up the mountain, we enter Machu Picchu, showing our tickets and documents. A guided tour of about 2 hours follows, covering the main sectors of the citadel. After the visit, we take the bus back to Aguas Calientes, where you’ll have time for lunch and to explore the town, visit the hot springs, or browse the artisan market. Later, we board the train back to Ollantaytambo (depending on availability). Upon arrival, our staff will meet you for the final transfer back to Cusco. The day ends with your arrival in the city, close to the Historic Centre—marking the completion of this unforgettable journey to the iconic Machu Picchu.
Day 4: Moray & Salineras de Maras

After breakfast, you’ll be picked up from your hotel in Cusco between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m. to begin the tour. The journey heads northwest through Andean landscapes, traditional villages, and agricultural fields. The first visit is to Moray, an impressive Inca site known for its circular agricultural terraces that functioned as a crop experimentation centre. After exploring, the tour continues to the Maras Salt Mines, a stunning complex of more than 3,000 salt pools that have been used since pre-Inca times. In the early afternoon, you’ll return to Cusco on a scenic route with views of mountains and farmlands. Arrival to the city is around 3:00 p.m., with drop-off near the Historic Centre.
