After meeting your guide and driver, we will begin the journey towards the vast landscapes of Khentii Province. Along the way, visit the impressive Genghis Khan Equestrian Statue Complex, the world’s tallest equestrian statue dedicated to Chinggis Khan, offering panoramic views of the surrounding steppe and insight into Mongolia’s rich history.

Continue the journey with a stop in Chinggis City for lunch before driving deeper into the Mongolian countryside. By late afternoon, arrive at Steppe Horse Camp, located on the historic Khukhuur Steppe—where Temujin and Boorchi are believed to have first formed their legendary friendship. Upon arrival, guests will be welcomed with traditional airag (fermented mare’s milk). After settling into camp and enjoying dinner, spend the evening around a warm campfire accompanied by traditional Mongolian songs beneath the open steppe sky.

Day 2: Introduction to Mongolian Horses & Nomadic Life

Begin the morning with a traditional Mongolian breakfast followed by an introduction to Mongolia’s native horses and a safety briefing. Guests will have time to become familiar with their horses and riding equipment before setting out across the steppe with a local horse guide. After lunch, continue on a guided horseback journey to visit local nomadic families. Experience authentic nomadic culture by participating in daily activities such as herding sheep and cattle, helping with household chores, and joining local herders as they gather hundreds of horses across the open grasslands. You will also learn how to prepare traditional Mongolian dishes and share a meal with the nomadic family. In the late afternoon, return to camp for rest and enjoy a scenic hike around the surrounding hills and valleys. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp.

Day 3: Journey to Dadal Sum – Birthplace of Chinggis Khan

After breakfast, continue the journey towards Dadal Sum, widely believed to be the birthplace of Chinggis Khan. Along the way, visit the monument dedicated to Shikhikhutag, the great advisor and trusted companion of Chinggis Khan. Travel through the scenic valleys of the Ulz and Onon Rivers before arriving in Dadal Sum. After check-in and lunch, visit the historic spring of Khaju Bulag, where Chinggis Khan is said to have drunk water during his childhood. Continue exploring the beautiful Balj River valley, where he spent much of his early life. Enjoy photo opportunities throughout the day while surrounded by Khentii’s untouched natural beauty. In the evening, visit the illuminated statue of Chinggis Khan and take a relaxing walk around Gurvan Nuur (Three Lakes). Dinner and overnight stay in Dadal Sum.

Early in the morning, prepare traditional offerings and pay respects at Deluun Boldog, revered as the birthplace of Chinggis Khan. Afterwards, visit the local market and explore the area surrounding the illuminated statue built in honour of the 800th anniversary of Chinggis Khan’s birth. Take time to enjoy the peaceful scenery around the legendary Three Lakes before returning for lunch and rest. Later in the afternoon, continue to the Steppe Horse Camp located in Batnorov Sum. Upon arrival, enjoy a short horseback excursion through the surrounding mountains accompanied by a traditional Mongolian hunting dog while searching for local wildlife such as foxes and lynxes. After dinner, relax and enjoy a peaceful overnight stay at the camp.

Day 5: Return to Ulaanbaatar
