Cinque Terre Day Tour
The departure is generally from the harbour of Le Grazie. After the crew briefing, the sails are hoisted and we set sail along the east coast of Liguria.

The first scenic stop is Portovenere, an ancient fishing village listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site along with the Cinque Terre. Dominated by the Church of St. Peter, the town was an important outpost of the Republic of Genoa in the Middle Ages.

Continuing north, you will come to the famous villages of Cinque Terre:

Riomaggiore, with its colourful houses perched on the cliff.
Manarola, one of the oldest villages, famous for its wine-making tradition.
Corniglia, the only village not directly overlooking the sea.
Vernazza, considered by many to be the most picturesque village thanks to its natural harbour.
Monterosso al Mare, the largest of the five villages and known for its beaches.
During the cruise, there are stops in the most sheltered bays for a swim in the crystal-clear waters and to admire the terraces planted with vines from the sea, the result of centuries of human labour on these steep hills.

For those who want an even more romantic atmosphere, the tour can be taken in the late afternoon.

The golden light of the sun setting behind the headlands of the Cinque Terre lends spectacular colours to the houses in the villages and the cliffs. While the boat sails gently past Vernazza and Monterosso, an aperitif is served on board.
