What you can expect

DAY 1: ARRIVAL GALAPAGOS: SANTA CRUZ ISLAND

Receive assistance at Quito or Guayaquil airport for Galápagos travel formalities before flying to Baltra. Upon arrival, transfer to Santa Cruz Island and visit the highlands (shared service), where you will observe giant tortoises in their natural habitat and explore a lava tunnel. Lunch at a local ranch. Continue to Puerto Ayora by private land transport.

Overnight in Puerto Ayora.

DAY 2: SANTA CRUZ ISLAND – ISABELA ISLAND: WETLANDS & TINTORERAS FROM SANTA CRUZ

Breakfast at the hotel. Speedboat transfer to Isabela Island. Visit Tintoreras Islet on a guided walk to observe marine iguanas, white-tip reef sharks and possibly penguins. Enjoy snorkelling with sea turtles and colourful marine life. Lunch included, followed by a short visit to Flamingo Lagoon and nearby wetlands.

Overnight in Isabela Island.

DAY 3: ISABELA ISLAND: SIERRA NEGRA & CONCHA DE PERLA

Breakfast at the hotel. Explore Sierra Negra Volcano and Volcán Chico with a private guide, enjoying impressive volcanic landscapes and lava fields. Lunch at a local farm. In the afternoon, snorkel at Concha de Perla where sea lions, turtles and tropical fish can be seen. Return to the hotel.

Overnight in Isabela Island.

DAY 4:

Box breakfast. Transfer from your hotel to the pier and take the boat back to Santa Cruz Island with assistance. The rest of the day is free to relax or explore. Optional excursions available: Half-Day Tortuga Bay Private Tour with lunch or Full-Day Charles Darwin Station & Tortuga Bay Tour with lunch.

Overnight in Puerto Ayora.

Day 5: Full-Day Navigable Tour: Santa Fe or Plazas or Bartolomé or North Seymour (Uninhabited Islands)

Today you will explore one of the uninhabited islands near Santa Cruz. Transfer from your hotel to the departure point and travel by bus to the Itabaca Channel to board the yacht. Depending on availability, visit North Seymour, Bartolomé, Santa Fe or Plazas. The excursion includes a guided walk to observe endemic wildlife and a snorkelling session to discover the rich marine life. Return to the hotel in the afternoon.

Overnight in Puerto Ayora.

DAY 6: SANTA CRUZ ISLAND DEPARTURE

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Baltra Airport three hours before your flight. Travel by car to the Itabaca Channel, cross by ferry (10 minutes) and continue by bus (15 minutes) to Baltra Airport for check-in.
