Day 1: Cusco Airport Transfer & City Tour Experience

Your driver will be waiting for you at the airport holding a sign with your name, ready to comfortably transfer you to your hotel in Cusco. In the afternoon, we will pick you up from your accommodation at 1:00 p.m. to begin the City Tour. The first stop will be Qorikancha (Temple of the Sun), where you will enjoy a guided visit and admire the impressive Inca architecture combined with valuable colonial art. We will then continue to the four most important archaeological sites: Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Puca Pucara, and Tambomachay. During the guided tour, you will explore temples, sacred enclosures, and massive stone structures that reflect the greatness of the Inca civilisation. Throughout the tour, you will also enjoy panoramic views of the city, its surrounding mountains, and beautiful landscapes. At the end of the tour, you will be dropped off near the Plaza de Armas de Cusco at approximately 5:30 p.m.

Day 2: Sacred Valley Experience with Overnight in Machu Picchu Town

Sacred Valley

At 08:00 a.m., pick-up from your hotel in Cusco to begin the Sacred Valley tour. Along the way, we will stop at the viewpoints of Qorao Viewpoint and Taray Viewpoint. Visit to the archaeological complex of Pisac and its traditional artisan market. Lunch in Urubamba. Then, a guided tour of Ollantaytambo. Finally, transfer to the train station to travel to Machu Picchu Pueblo. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and coordination with your guide for the next day’s visit.

Day 3: Machu Picchu

Machu Picchu

In coordination with your guide, you will board the Consettur Bus from Aguas Calientes to the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, where you will enjoy a guided tour of the citadel. After the visit, you will return by bus to Aguas Calientes to enjoy an included lunch. Then, you will take the train to Ollantaytambo Station and continue by bus to Cusco, where transport will take you back to your hotel. Note: It is recommended to have mobile data active.

Day 4: Humantay Lake

Pick-up will be between 4:20 and 4:40 a.m. to begin a panoramic journey of approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes to Mollepata, where you will enjoy a buffet breakfast. Then, we will continue to Soraypampa (3,900 m.a.s.l.), surrounded by stunning Andean landscapes and with views of the majestic Salkantay Mountain. From this point, we will begin a 2 km hike with a gradual ascent, lasting approximately 2 hours. We will arrive at the beautiful Humantay Lake, known for its turquoise waters formed by minerals and surrounded by glaciers. During the visit, your guide will share information and interesting facts about the area. Afterwards, we will descend back to Soraypampa and return to Mollepata to enjoy a buffet lunch. Finally, we will begin the return journey to Cusco, arriving at approximately 6:30 p.m., concluding the tour near the Plaza de Armas de Cusco.

Day 5: Rainbow Mountain

Your guide will pick you up from your hotel at 4:30 a.m. to begin an incredible adventure. We will travel for approximately 2 hours through the South Valley until reaching Cusipata, where you will enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast. Then, we will continue by transport for about 45 more minutes to the starting point of the hike. From there, we will begin a hike of approximately 2 hours with a moderate ascent. Around 10:30 a.m., we will arrive at Vinicunca, also known as the Rainbow Mountain (5,036 m.a.s.l.). You will have enough time to enjoy this breathtaking and unique landscape. After the visit, we will hike back to the starting point, where the transport will take us back to Cusipata to enjoy a buffet lunch. After a short rest, we will begin the return journey to Cusco, arriving at approximately 4:30 p.m. At the end of the tour, you will be dropped off near the Plaza de Armas de Cusco.
