Embark on a 6-day adventure through the American West, exploring iconic national parks and breathtaking landscapes. Begin your journey with a night in Yellowstone National Park, followed by a night in an eco-zone stargazing tent, where you can marvel at the starry night sky.
Day 1: Los Angeles–Rainbow Rocks–Zion National Park
We meet at 8:00 AM and leave Los Angeles via Highway 15. We pass San Bernardino National Forest and North America’s Mojave Desert to enjoy western desert views. We stop to take photos at Seven Magic Mountains, then head to Zion National Park for hiking and views of red cliffs and canyons. Finally, we check into a mountain cabin in Kanab for the night.
Day 2: Kanab-Antelope Canyon-Horseshoe Bend-Lake Powell-Salt Lake City
We leave Kanab for Antelope Canyon, a world-famous photography spot famed for stunning light, shadows and rock formations. A Navajo guide will lead you through this naturally carved canyon. Next we visit Horseshoe Bend to see the spectacular U-shaped gorge, then enjoy views at Lake Powell. We finally head to Salt Lake City and check into the hotel.
Day 3: Salt Lake City–Yellowstone National Park–Yellowstone Bear World–Grand Prismatic Spring–Yellowstone Palette–Old Faithful Geyser–Morning Glory Pond
We leave Salt Lake City for Yellowstone National Park to explore its top geothermal sites: Grand Prismatic Spring, Old Faithful Geyser, Artist Paint Pots and Morning Glory Pool. We'll also pass Yellowstone Bear World, where you can take a shuttle to safely view bears, moose, bison and other wildlife.
Day 4: Yellowstone Lake–Hayden Valley–Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone–Artists' Point–Upper Falls–Yellowstone Ecosystem Hot Springs–Mammoth Hot Springs–Roosevelt Arch
From Yellowstone East Entrance, visit Yellowstone Lake (boat tour available at your own cost) and Hayden Valley. Tour Yellowstone Grand Canyon, hot springs, Mammoth Hot Springs, and finish at Roosevelt Arch.
Day 5: Yellowstone National Park–West Thumb Geyser–Elk Antlers National Park–Grand Teton National Park–Utah State Capitol–Temple Square–Salt Lake City
Today, we will first take you to visit the West Thumb Geyser Basin, located on the shore of Yellowstone Lake, and then proceed to Grand Teton National Park. Afterwards, we will make a short stop at Elk Antler Arches Park before heading to the Utah State Capitol and Temple Square. After the visit, we will return to our hotel in Salt Lake City to rest.
Day 6: Salt Lake City–Valley of Fire–Las Vegas
After breakfast today, we will drive to Valley of Fire State Park to admire the breathtaking natural wonders. After the visit, we will arrive in Las Vegas around 7 PM, concluding our wonderful and unforgettable 6-day trip.
