At 7 o'clock you will be picked up from your hotel or residency within Nairobi CBD and commence the drive to Maasai Mara via the great rift valley view point where you will have a breathtaking view of the floor of the rift valley. Lunch will be picnic on the way. In the afternoon after you check in depart for a game drive. Maasai Mara National Reserve

Spend the full day exploring Maasai Mara in search of the Big Five. You will have picnic lunches in the Reserve as you scale the Mara beauty sited at the banks of Mara river. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place: the great migration. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (in Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna – lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas and vultures.

Day 3: Depart Maasai Mara to Nakuru

Lake Nakuru National Park

Lake Nakuru is home to large numbers of the Greater and Lesser Flamingoes, white and black rhino, buffalos, lion, zebra, gazelle, the rare long-eared leaf-nosed bat, colobus monkey, rock hyrax, hippo, leopard, waterbuck, impala, gazelle, striped hyena, bat-eared fox, wild cat, reedbuck , golden cat, warthog, baboons and over 450 species of terrestrial and water birds

Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park to Lake Naivasha

You'll have a morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park which is famously known for flamingoes and also a rhino sanctuary for both the white endangered rhino and the black rhino. You'll enjoy the splendid site of the water body animals like the buffaloes, crocodiles, and hippos too, and how they live together. You will view this from the viewpoint of the baboon cliff and interact with the baboons too. You'll have a picnic lunch. Later in the day, you'll travel to Naivasha. You'll have dinner and spend the night in Naivasha.

Day 5: Naivasha - Amboseli National Park

Lake Naivasha

After early breakfast, proceed to Hell's gate National park where you will have a chance to visit the Geothermal Power Plant in Ol Karia and the Hot Springs. This is the only park that allows transport by walking and cycling. There is an optional visit to Crescent Island for a boat ride where you watch hippos plus other wild animals. Later after lunch depart to Amboseli national park, arriving in the evening.

Day 6: Amboseli National Park

  • Accommodation: Overnight at Manjaro Tented Camp in Amboseli

Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, you will spend the full day in Amboseli National Park enjoying the best this area has to offer. You will have the opportunity to view Mt. Kilimanjaro and go on an optional tour of a Maasai village to learn about their traditional way of life. Meals and your overnight stay will be at the camp.
