Day 1 - Arrival in Albania: Welcome & Transfer to Vlora
Welcome to Albania! Upon arrival at Tirana International Airport, meet our friendly driver holding a personalised sign. Please share your flight details in advance so we can ensure a smooth pickup. Relax and enjoy the scenic drive to your hotel in Vlora, one of Albania’s most beautiful coastal cities. Check in, unwind, and enjoy your first evening by the sea.
Day 2 - Discover Vlora: The Birthplace of Albanian Independence
After breakfast, we will explore Vlora, where Albania’s independence was declared in 1912. We will the Independence Monument, Old Town, and National Museum of Independence. Discover the Muradie Mosque and the scenic Zvernec Island with its historic monastery. At the end we will enjoy a traditional Albanian lunch and spend the afternoon relaxing by the sea or exploring at your own pace.
Day 3 - Ancient Apollonia & Historic Berat
After breakfast we will travel to Apollonia, an ancient Greek city founded in the 6th century BC. Wander through ruins of temples, an amphitheatre, and a monastery surrounded by olive groves. We will continue to Berat, the UNESCO “City of a Thousand Windows.” Explore its castle, cobbled alleys, and Ottoman-style houses of Mangalem and Gorica. At the end we will enjoy a delicious local lunch in Berat before returning to Vlora for the evening.
Day 4 - Free Day in Vlora
Enjoy a relaxing day in Vlora! Lounge on golden beaches, stroll the vibrant promenade, or explore local shops and cafés. Take this day to soak up the sun and enjoy the Albanian Riviera at your own pace.
Day 5 - Tepelena Springs, Gjirokastër & The Blue Eye
Begin the day at the Tepelena Thermal Springs, surrounded by the peaceful Vjosa Valley. We will continue to Gjirokastër, a UNESCO World Heritage city famed for its stone houses and hilltop fortress, the tour include visiting Gjirokastra Castle and Cold War Tunnel.After a traditional lunch, we will visit the stunning Blue Eye (Syri i Kaltër), a crystal-clear natural spring and one of Albania’s most beautiful sights. Return to Vlora for a relaxing evening.
Day 6 - Brataj Bridge & Porto Palermo
We will travel through the scenic Shushica Valley to the historic Brataj Bridge, a beautiful Ottoman-era stone bridge surrounded by untouched nature, rolling hills, and crystal-clear river waters. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, perfect for photos and a short nature walk. Continue south along the Albanian Riviera to Porto Palermo, home to Ali Pasha’s Castle, a seaside fortress offering panoramic views of the Ionian Sea. After enjoying a traditional Albanian lunch at a local restaurant, take some time to admire the coastal scenery, capture stunning photos, and soak in the tranquil atmosphere before returning to Vlora for your final evening.
Day 7 – Farewell & Airport Transfer
After breakfast, we’ll transfer you comfortably back to Tirana International Airport.
