Day 1: Londorossi Gate to Mti Mkubwa Camp

Day 2: Mti Mkubwa Camp to Shira 1 Camp
After breakfast, continue your ascent through beautiful rainforest and heathland towards the spectacular Shira Plateau. Enjoy breathtaking mountain scenery, unique vegetation, and magnificent views of Kilimanjaro's western slopes. Arrive at Shira 1 Camp for a freshly dinner and overnight camping.
Day 3: Shira 1 Camp to Shira 2 Camp
Enjoy breakfast before trekking across the scenic Shira Plateau. Admire panoramic mountain views, volcanic formations, and expansive alpine scenery. The gradual ascent allows the body to adjust to the altitude before reaching Shira 2 Camp for dinner and relaxation.
Day 4: Shira 2 Camp to Barranco Camp via Lava Tower
Begin your morning ascent towards Lava Tower, reaching approximately 4,630 metres above sea level. Descend through the beautiful Barranco Valley, surrounded by dramatic cliffs and giant groundsels, before arriving at Barranco Camp for dinner and overnight rest.
Day 5: Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp
After breakfast, tackle the famous Barranco Wall with assistance from your experienced mountain guides. Continue across scenic ridges and valleys while enjoying incredible views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Arrive at Karanga Camp in the afternoon, where you can relax, enjoy a warm dinner, and prepare for the next day's ascent.
Day 6: Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp
Continue your adventure towards Barafu Camp, the final base before your summit attempt. Enjoy spectacular views of Mawenzi Peak and the surrounding mountain landscapes. Arrive at camp for an early dinner, receive your summit briefing, and rest before the midnight climb.
Day 7: Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak and Mweka Camp
Begin your summit adventure around midnight. Continue to Uhuru Peak at 5,895 metres, the highest point in Africa, and celebrate your remarkable achievement. After enjoying breathtaking summit views, descend to Barafu Camp for a short rest before continuing to Mweka Camp for dinner and overnight camping
Day 8: Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate and Moshi/Arusha
After breakfast, enjoy your final descent through Kilimanjaro's beautiful rainforest, surrounded by lush vegetation and fascinating wildlife. Arrive at Mweka Gate for checkout. Meet your driver for a comfortable transfer back to Moshi or Arusha.
