    Designed for guests already staying in the Barossa Valley, this private experience is ideal for friends or family who want to discover the real Barossa with a genuine local guide. If you are looking for an Adelaide day trip, this tour will not be suitable.

    Stay Local, Stay Immersed

    Staying in the Barossa creates a richer and more authentic experience. Spend the day wine tasting, not commuting from Adelaide. As a Group of Four, you can also enjoy exceptional value while experiencing a more personal and relaxed alternative to larger commercial tours.

    Your Day in the Barossa

    Your day begins with a 10am pickup from your Barossa accommodation and finishes with a return to your door at approximately 4pm. Travel in a modern leather-seated people mover with space and comfort to enjoy an unhurried day.

    A suggested itinerary begins with a guided winery tour and wine tasting at historic Château Tanunda, followed by a tasting at family-owned Seabrook Wines. At 1pm, enjoy an included charcuterie-style lunch at Atze's Corner before an afternoon tasting at boutique Laughing Jack Wines.

    The suggested itinerary can be customised to suit your group's interests, subject to winery availability. Occasionally a winery may need to be substituted, while retaining the same structure of guided activity, tastings and winery lunch.

    Your Local Guide

    Think of Charles as your Barossa insider for the day. Along the way, discover the villages, vineyards and stories that have shaped the region, with local knowledge adding another dimension to your day beyond the cellar doors.

    Lunch Included

    Enjoy a generous charcuterie-style lunch featuring local cheeses, meats and regional produce at one of the wineries visited during the day.

    The guided Château Tanunda winery tour, all scheduled wine tastings, lunch, pickup and return to your Barossa accommodation, and transport throughout the day are included in the tour price.

    One Tour Per Day Only

    Valley Wine Tours operates only one tour each day, allowing complete focus on your Group of Four. There are no other guests on board, and the experience is hosted personally by Charles from pickup to return.
