We start at the Ramsay House and discuss the origins of Alexandria, Virginia. William Ramsay was a Scottish merchant and good friend of George Washington. He was one of the founders of Alexandria. This first stop contains one of our favourite hidden gems. Hint: It's hiding in plain sight!
Carlyle House

Travellers will discover where the American Revolution was born. No kidding! Twenty years before the Revolutionary War started, events were in motion that would lead to the American colonies declaring independence.
Gadsby's Tavern Museum

One of Alexandria's classic cobblestone streets. Fun and fascinating history to include one of Alexandria's largest fires. We will discuss why it is called Captain's Row. This will be the last stop on the tour and we will take pictures and be close to great restaurants!
