Enjoy a scenic drive through Big Cottonwood Canyon, home to the Solitude and Brighton ski resorts, with towering peaks, alpine forests and incredible mountain views. A highlight is a walk around Silver Lake, a beautiful mountain lake near the top of the canyon. Please note: Silver Lake is not accessible during the winter months.

Little Cottonwood Canyon

Drive up Little Cottonwood Canyon, home to the Snowbird and Alta ski resorts and one of the prettiest drives in the area, with dramatic granite cliffs and sweeping alpine scenery. Depending on the season, there is an option to hike to Lisa Falls, a small waterfall just off the side of the road. The trail is short but climbs at a steady incline the whole way.

American Fork Canyon
