A charming circular garden located in the Bunkyo area. The garden once belonged to the Hosokawa family (direct vassals of the Tokugawa clan) and is now one of the most charming public parks in central Tokyo.
Koshinzuka Shopping Street

From Waseda Station, the tour moves to the Koshinuzuka area via the Tokyo Sakura Tram, the only remaining tram line in Tokyo between Minowabashi Station and Waseda. Along the tram line, there are excellent places to admire the cherry blossoms and roses, as well as historical and cultural sites, shopping centers of a bygone era, and many other varied and eye-catching areas that also give a sense of nostalgia.
Sugamo Jizo-dori Shopping Street

A charming shopping street in Sugamo, also known as the Harajuku of the elderly. That’s because of the multitude of stores specialising in selling items for the elderly. It could happen to see frequently replicas of the duck known as Sugamon, the district mascot. Jizo Dori is also famous for the Koganji Temple, where there is a special statue of the goddess Kannon that “is washed.” Indeed, it is believed that certain afflictions can be cured by pouring water on this sacred state of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva: washing the afflicted body part will lead to the disappearance of pain from one's body.
