What you can expect

  • We will meet at the Grenant Canyon car park, just a few minutes from Lake Aiguebelette, near Chambéry. After a short safety briefing and the provision of equipment, a short, approximately 20-minute walk will take us to the entrance of the canyon.

    From the very first metres, the atmosphere is magical: clear water meandering through a landscape sculpted by time. The route alternates between beautiful waterfalls, natural slides carved into the limestone rock, and jumps of up to 16 feet (5 metres); all jumps are optional. You'll discover canyoning in a gradual way that's suitable for all levels. Allow about 1.5 to 2 hours for the Grenant Discovery option and 2.5 to 3 hours in the water for the Grenant Full Experience. A full immersion in the heart of nature.

    At the end of the experience, a short, leisurely walk takes us back to our cars. This fantastic adventure is suitable for ages 8 and up for the Discovery version and ages 12 and up for the Full version, making it perfect for a half-day exploration!
