This immersive African spirituality shrine experience introduces travellers to the deep-rooted beliefs, rituals, and traditions that shape local spiritual life. Guided by a shrine custodian, guests will learn about ancestral worship, sacred symbols, libation, and the spiritual connection between humans, nature, and the unseen world.
The experience comes alive with traditional drumming and dancing where travellers can observe and participate, feeling the rhythm and energy used in ceremonies and celebrations. Guests will also spend quality time with local community members, sharing stories and gaining first-hand insight into daily life and cultural values.
A brief cultural experience where travellers learn the meaning of African libation practices, how drinks are offered to ancestors and spirits, and the role libation plays in prayers, gratitude, and community ceremonies.
The journey continues with an introduction to traditional herbs and plants, learning how they are used for healing, protection, and wellness in African medicine. This respectful and educational experience offers a meaningful cultural exchange, deeper understanding, and a powerful connection to Africa’s spiritual heritage.
Travellers will visit Cedi Beads, A traditional bead-making centre where travellers learn how recycled glass is transformed into beautiful handmade beads. Visitors watch the full process, explore the cultural meaning of beads in Ghanaian life, and can create or purchase unique beads (jewelries) directly from the artisans.
The fresh fruit market at Akuse Junction is a vibrant roadside stop where travellers experience the colours, flavours, and energy of local trade. Visitors can see a wide variety of seasonal fruits such as pineapple, mango, watermelon, banana, and coconut freshly harvested from nearby farms. It’s a great place to interact with friendly local sellers, learn about tropical fruits grown in the area, taste fresh produce, and enjoy an authentic slice of everyday Ghanaian life.
Then head back to the city Accra for drop off.
