What you can expect

Hop aboard the van in Toronto and head towards the park on a relaxing drive.
What sets Algonquin Park apart is the ever-changing scenery throughout the seasons.

Spring: Wildlife Watching and Moose Spotting

As the snow melts and nature awakens, spring is the perfect time to explore Algonquin Park's wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for moose, as they are known to frequent the park during this season. Please note, the Algonquin Park hiking tour doesn't guarantee a wildlife sighting.

    Summer: Hiking and Swimming

With its vast network of trails, Algonquin Park hiking tour offers endless opportunities for hiking enthusiasts. Whether you're up for a challenging 11 km hike on trails like Mizzy Lake or Centennial Ridges, or prefer a shorter hike to Bat Lake, Visitor Centre, or Ragged Falls, there's a trail for every skill level. Along the way, take a refreshing dip in one of the park's crystal-clear lakes to cool off from the summer heat.

    Autumn: A Spectacle of Colours

When autumn arrives, Algonquin Park transforms into a painter's palette of vibrant colours. The changing leaves create a breathtaking display that attracts visitors from near and far. Take a leisurely stroll along one of the park's scenic trails and immerse yourself in the beauty of the fall foliage. Don't forget your camera, as you'll want to capture these picturesque moments.

    Winter: Snowshoeing Adventure

Winter is a quiet time in Algonquin, when you can quite often see birds, moose, and other wildlife because there are not too many visitors in the park. We will equip you with snowshoes and ice cleats and we will take you through the Canadian winter wonderland.

    Algonquin Park Hiking Trails
Based on trail conditions and physical level of all participants, our tour guide will choose the best Algonquin park hiking trails for the day. You don't need to have any hiking experience. However, as this is a hiking or snowshoeing tour, you need to be fit and able to hike (with breaks) for 5 hours per day. Please don't join the tour, if you have any walking problems as this is a hiking tour.
