There is a place in the south of Peru where a mountain attracts the eye, not so much for its grandeur, but rather for its eye-catching appearance. We are talking about Vinicunca, or rainbow mountain, which has become one of the greatest tourist attractions in the land of the Incas. Located in the Vilcanota Mountain Range - southeast of the city of Cusco - Vinicunca offers a wonderful spectacle, from the same road that leads to it. It is a journey of approximately 3 hours by bus. 30 minutes on ATVs and a 5-minute walk to the top of the colourful mountain. Although it demands high physical demands, it culminates in a postcard image that remains forever engraved in the traveler's memory.
