Day 1: Alleppey
Arrive at the Alleppey Houseboat Boarding point by 11:45 AM. Meet your representative at the boarding jetty who will welcome and escort you to your private houseboat.
Enjoy a scenic cruise through Alleppey's famous backwaters with a stop for a traditional Kerala lunch onboard. Witness and experience everyday village life, lush green paddy fields, and serene waterscapes.
Cruise through Punnamada Lake, where the annual Nehru Trophy Boat Race regatta is conducted. Continue to the Pamba River, flowing from the Western Ghats via Alleppey to the Arabian Sea.
Sail along the SNDP Canal (Thod), a narrow canal where both sides are local villages. Pass by the Irumbanam Canal, a narrow passage where both sides are villages, and Meenappilly Lake, a serene lunch stop surrounded by greenery. Finally, cruise along Muttel Thod, which connects Meenappilly Lake to the Pamba River.
Disembark the houseboat for a memorable narrow canal journey in an open country canoe through Kuttamangalam Canal. Witness unexplored rural scenery, crossing under wooden bridges connecting villages on both sides.
