Our walking food tour starts at historic Kallimarmaro (The Panathenaic Stadium) and continues through the nostalgic streets of our own area, Pagrati. Just blocks from the city centre, Pagrati offers all the charm of Athens with none of the touristy feel. We want to show you our favourite hidden gems, the places that have fed us all our lives. We’ll treat you to the freddo espresso we drink every day, the spanikopita our mums bring home from the bakery, the dishes our yiayiás make us when we visit, and the desserts we expect the host to bring out at parties. Between all our stops, you’ll try a little bit of everything, from traditional Greek dishes to modern twists on classics. You can get a pita gyro anywhere–we’ll show you dishes you can only find with the help of a local.
