Our personalised pick-up service starts with transport from hotels in Santo Domingo. We will contact you the day before to coordinate the exact time we will be there to pick you up.

After pickup, we will head to the eastern part of the country. In approximately 1.25 hours, we will arrive at our first stop, the Caves of Wonders, where a local guide will be waiting for us to take a tour that includes a 900-meter (3,000-foot) walk through deep caves and a 500-meter (1,600-foot) walk through the site. During this visit to the sea caves, we will observe the stalagmites and stalactites.

After leaving the caves, we will have the opportunity to visit a local iguana farm, where the iguanas are kept to increase their population and later released into their natural habitats.

We will continue our journey for 35 minutes until we reach Altos de Chavón, where we will visit the San Estanislao Church, the Altos de Chavón Amphitheatre (where world-renowned artists perform concerts), and a fountain inspired by the Trevi Fountain in Rome. We will also take photos at the viewpoint overlooking the Chavón River (where the films Rambo II, Apocalypse Now, and Crocodile Dundee were filmed).

The site also includes the School of Arts, the Dominican Amber and Larimar Museum, and the Altos de Chavón Archaeological Museum. This location has also hosted weddings for major international celebrities.

At the end of the tour, we will visit a gift shop, where we can enjoy an aphrodisiac drink like Mamajuana, coffee, and artisanal chocolate, and where you can purchase beautiful souvenirs for your loved ones.
