You will cross the threshold of our family farm, an authentic place where each room holds a function, a memory, an ancient gesture. Around you, the landscape of southeast Sicily slowly reveals itself: fields shaped by human labour, silences full of stories, horizons that speak of an agricultural culture that is still alive.
Walking through our land, you will come face to face with the dry stone walls, stone textures that have marked the boundaries of the land and protected it for centuries. You will discover the secrets of this ancient construction art, recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and in an interactive workshop you can try your hand at designing and building a small wall with your own hands.
The walk will continue in the Hyblaean countryside, among wild plants and majestic centuries-old carob trees, the symbol of this corner of the Mediterranean. Here, nature and culture intertwine in a subtle balance, made up of resilience and generosity.
The experience will end with a food tasting dedicated to the carob, an ancient and surprisingly sweet fruit. You will discover its taste and its transformations, including our handcrafted “CARMA” carob and almond spread. A sensory journey that tells the storey of the soul of this land through its flavours.
