09h00 - 10:00 a.m.: Panoramic drive to Chinchero. During this trip we will be able to appreciate beautiful Andean landscapes. Our guide will explain how is the community life and its principles: Ayni (reciprocity), Minka (communal work) and Yanantin (complementarity).
Chinchero

10h00 - 11h30 : Arrival at the community and preparations. Welcome by the members of the community. Detailed explanation of the ceremonial dress and its meaning: Lliqlla (cloak): protection and spiritual shelter. Montera (hat): symbol of status and respect. Chumpi (sash): representation of the indissoluble union. Delivery of offerings to the Pachamama (coca leaves, chicha, flowers and seeds) as an act of gratitude. 12h00 : The Andean Ceremony Presentation of the altomisayoc (Andean priest) and his role as spiritual guide. Ritual of commitment: exchange of coca leaves and tying of the sashes as a symbol of eternal connection. Energetic circle with the guests, who will send good wishes to the couple. 13h00 : Traditional lunch. We will have time to enjoy an exquisite traditional lunch accompanied by members of the community. Back to Cusco.
